Resently my BF finished playing Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly, while he played I pretty much just watched. Yeah I'm to much of a scardy cat so soon after I started the game in the first place the controller was passed and I soon picked up my art book instead.
Everything was colored in pens/colored pencils including the butterfly, from there the background and lighting effects were added using APS.
A special thanks to my wonderful bf for showing me a few new tricks which helped out allot.
The Only problems with the image soon after I finished doing everything and discovered way way to late was an extra strap around Mio's ankle and the fact that the lace on her skirt has way more details.
*shrugs* Considering I was going off what I was viewing on TV I think it turned out okay.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
